Abstract :
A three phase parallel resonant converter (PRC) operating above resonant frequency with phase controlled voltage conversion ratio, is proposed for offline power conditioning. A simplified analysis of the converter is carried out and theoretical design curves produced. These are compared to those of a single phase PRC. An experimental circuit is produced and the results compared to theory. The suitability of this topology for circuit integration is discussed and alternatives suggested
