Abstract :
The ever expanding requirements of modern electronic receivers on decreasing platform sizes will mandate the use of multifunctional systems in the near future. Herein, we present an architecture for such a receiver based on optical upconversion techniques. This technology has already been utilized to demonstrate a distributed passive millimeter-wave imaging array that operates in real time.
