            Abstract : 
We report continuous, multiple-day measurements of polarization transients of a C-band channel on an installed 1800-km terrestrial, wavelength-division-multiplexed link. Both elastic and inelastic transients were observed, with speeds up to 90 degrees in 20 microseconds.
