Abstract :
Recently, there has been concerned the adverse effect on human health of magnetic field in low frequency. A safety threshold of magnetic distributions for human health are defined in some guidelines, so we can know that there are some effects by comparing measured value with guidelines. For measuring magnetic distributions, it´s important to identify the location of measuring points. Recently, we have proposed the freehand scanning method for measuring field distribution using a infrared tracker to determine the position of EMF sensor. In this paper, this method is applied to a low frequency sensor, and EMF distribution of the IH cooker and AC-drive shaver are measured. As a result, it is found that low frequency EMF distribution is visualized by this simple method.
