  • Abstract
    The gain of KGd0.447Lu0.078Yb0.475(WO4)2 waveguide optical amplifiers in the wavelength range from 980 nm to 1023 nm is reported. Values above 150 dB/cm were obtained with peak gain of 935 dB/cm at 981 nm.
