Abstract :
There is a permanent interest to increase the dynamic range when active filters are designed. A new technique to increase the dynamic range of "tanh" and "sinh" current amplifiers is presented, by using the inverted transfer function. The proposed technique allows electronic tuning of the dynamic range and gain by external bias currents. Then the possibility of using these linearized circuits to design lossy integrators is investigated. These integrators are basic building blocks of active filters.
