Abstract :
A range of 40 kA switchgear has been developed to meet the requirements of power station auxiliaries an heavy industry, including the oil production platforms in the North Sea. The equipment meets the requirements of the most stringent safety rules and working practices which apply to this class of equipment, particularly for access to equipment where adjacent parts contain live conductors
