Abstract
A method of moments (MM) formulation is presented to calculate the radiation and scattering from finite bodies of translation (BOT) of arbitrary cross section. The formulation parallels in part the MM theory for bodies of revolution (BOR) and retains the modal expansion concept used in the latter. Computer implementable expressions are obtained that relax to the classic results for infinite cylinders considered before.
