Abstract :
E-commerce is very interesting, perspective, fastest growing segment of the market. XXI century is e-commerce epoch. He has a set of unique features, but is based on the general principles of marketing. At any given computer, interactive three-dimensional images have appeared long ago. However, sharing such information via the Internet in real timerequires high speed data transmission, not afforded by traditional modems. At present the situation changes dramatically. Fundamentally new ways to access the network, using already existing communication infrastructure. Public dialogue with the intention to discuss the prospects and the objectives for the development of e-commerce in the country was organized by the Department of Informational Technologies and Innovations at the Ministry of Economy and Sustainable Development. International customers of online-shops spend around 260 billion USD each year. E-commerce is still underdeveloped in Georgia that is why we try to promote the development of electronic systems in all spheres. We shall discuss the major problems which hinder the development of e-commerce in the country at today´s meeting. A list of coordinate actions will also be defined for the oriented development of e-commerce both on the local and global markets including some legal issues” - Irakli Kashibadze noted. Representatives of other Ministries, banks, online-shops and state agencies also participated in the event.
