Abstract
Implementations of voltage reference circuits for low power electronics face the tradeoff between accuracy and low-power. In this paper a new circuit is presented, which is capable of transforming a high-power (5 mW) voltage generator circuit into a low-power (5 /spl mu/W) voltage generator circuit with minimal compromise of accuracy. This work utilizes the concept of selective turn-on of high power reference voltage generator for sample and hold, with the help of an automatic refresh scheme.
