Abstract :
Mobile government is a subset of electronic government and has produced significant changes in the field of information and communication technology (ICT). Increased development and improvement of portable wireless devices especially cell phone and PDAs has provided the possibility that governments offer some helpful and efficient mobile services for citizens via these devices. Citizens will be able to access offered services everywhere and every time. In this paper we review mobile government and mobile services and then we will present one new mobile service named mobile police (M-Police). Proposed service can be used by citizens and police officers. In this paper the architecture of this service and its challenges is discussed.
