A digital picture analyser for compatible HDMAC transmission chain

The authors describe measurement equipment which was developed in the framework of the HDTV European project EUREKA-95. They first present the architecture of the HDTV chain so as to point out the digital interfaces where measurements can be taken. Then they describe the implementation of the measurement equipment and its performance. Finally they deal with some practical measurements which have been carried out on the EUREKA chain
