Abstract :
Application of hunting-free codes for realizing flexible and versatile multiplexing is investigated. First, the principles of hunting-free codes based on multipled block code (MBC) are overviewed. Next, generalized versions of hunting-free codes are discussed. Then applicability of hunting-free reframing to versatile multiplexing is investigated. Finally the design of asynchronous multiplexers for broadband subscriber distribution is investigated.
