Abstract :
A different lattice structure prewhitening filter is derived. The new lattice filter is working in the domain of symmetric-antisymmetric prediction filters. The new structure is an alternative to the known lattice working in the domain of the forward and backward prediction filter. The derivation of the filter structure and coefficients are given. Because the successive sections of the filter are not orthogonal, the input is limited to a single sinusoidal signal. Simulation results are also presented
