Abstract
Summary form only given, as follows. It is suggested that adding the ability of deriving secondary values (suitably added merit or cost) from primary values (a priori settled merit or cost) will increase an automaton´s capacity to become adapted to its environment. In the method used, secondary values constitute the categorized bundle of environmental input signals, showing high correlation with primary values. Further, a secondary value can also create another secondary value recursively
