Abstract :
This work presents the results and the methodology used for simulation of DC machines operating in an unbalanced electrical network, where it is expected that the representation of the AC power supply network involves cables, utility equivalent transformer, converter bridges, representation of the DC machine, and representation of the control and regulation system by using individual-type pulse production system (zero “crossing”). Simulations are made in steady and transient states for the system represented to verify the machine performance in view of disturbances in the AC power supply network. Results of time and harmonics waveshapes are presented. Several solution alternatives to the problem are presented as well
