Abstract
A method of interference cancellation using adaptive antenna arrays is investigated. A proposal for an adaptive antenna array is presented where the number of antenna sensors is minimized. The performance of both the proposed scheme and the ordinary one are compared through computer simulations. The effects of the number of array elements and interference to signal ratio (ISR) on the performance of the adaptive interference canceller is evaluated. It is found that the proposed scheme of the adaptive antenna array exhibits a better performance than the ordinary adaptive antenna array
