Abstract
Attachment sites of living cells are investigated by using a reflection acoustic microscope. Images taken at different conditions show the behaviour of cell adhesion. In particular, sequences of images point out changes in attachment sites due to chemical perturbation of the culture medium. Cell adhesion on grooved substrata is also considered. Experimental and simulated V(z) curves are analyzed in order to obtain quantitative results
