Abstract
In this paper, we will discuss how local industrial clusters build up a technological innovation system and its operating mechanism. Based on case study, we developed a “Four-in-One” model of technological innovation in Guangdong specialized towns to analyze the mechanism of technological innovation in industrial clusters. We also found that the innovation center plays an important role in enhancing the competitiveness of industrial clusters and of the regional economy.
