Abstract :
In this paper, we explore the possibility of adding support for multi-touch input devices. The purpose is for the seamless use of the common functions in traditional graphical user interfaces. We proposed a couple of simple interaction techniques using a multi-touch input device. The proposed techniques are aim to operate as effective as the mouse. A simple gesture called Pump is introduced to add custom controlled offsets to the cursor position. The gesture solves common problems with touch screens and enables natural and fluent operations.
