Abstract
A method is presented for computerized reconstruction of ground illumination from the incident field sampled during a polar raster scan. A technique is also described for the complete removal of the direct signal component and partial suppression of the effects of certain measurement errors. This method of automated range probing can aid in the accurate placement of the diffraction fences with overall reduced probing time.
