  • Abstract
    The Smart Personal Health Manager is a system designed to monitor physiological vital signs, and personal environments, while providing disease specific expert real time analysis and feedback to the common user via a personal device such as a PDA or cell phone. This demonstration will consist of the wearable body monitor, a personal environment monitor and a personal UI device, all providing real time, wearable, ambulatory, continuous monitoring, analysis and feedback. This application is based on a suite of sensors connected on a multi-hop network and demonstrates solutions to the engineering challenges in low power networking, battery power and compute power management, wearable computing solutions, real time signal processing of physiological data etc.
