Abstract :
Root locus techniques are used to design high-frequency sinusoidal oscillators with low distortion index. The influence of the operational amplifier slew-rate is investigated by means of descriptive function analysis. A design procedure is developed providing sinusoidal oscillations up to 800 kHz. The experimental results are in agreement with the theoretical predictions
