Abstract
This case study examines an innovative logistic service enabled by inter-organizational systems. It investigates how Nokia deploys RosettaNet to share information within supply network and deal with demand shocks from various sources. Moreover, RosettaNet-enabled partnership cannot be effective without the support of product modularity design. Theoretical contributions and practical suggestions are elaborated.
