Abstract :
The two-mass system which has a motor and a load connected with a flexible shaft is study. The control of torsional vibration is considered how to design the robust controller of uncertain parameter system with external disturbance. The design is translated into Hinfin standard control problem by constructing a suitable augmented controlled object. Then a state feedback controller which suit the specifically performance is obtained by using Riccati equation. The simulation results show that the proposed design improves dynamic performance and suppresses torsional vibration of rolling mill system
