Abstract :
This paper presents a comparison between a standard Field Programmable Gate Array (FPGA) based controller and a customizable System on Programmable Chip (cSoC) digital solution. This comparison is performed through the implementation of a Direct Power Control (DPC) for three-phase Pulse Width Modulation. It concerns principally the design methodology, time performances and the quality of the system control. Experimental results are also presented for both solutions.
