Embedded systems training with bilingual education

The courses of Embedded Systems are compulsory contents for most undergraduate and postgraduate students in Electronic Engineering or Computer Engineering. Since the newest information of IT is mostly issued in English, some Chinese graduated students, whose native language and their course books are not in English, face to difficulty to collect new information or update their knowledge themselves. In order to improve ability of the students in study and applications with English, the bilingual education for computer engineering is a significant effort. This paper is focus of the organization of bilingual education for computer applications in China. Situation analysis of objects, plan, practice and estimate of bilingual education are discussed. A course of embedded systems, MCU and Applications, with bi-language as an example is introduced in this paper. A research shows that the bilingual education is helpful for engineering students.
