Abstract
Health-care services for elders become a more and more important topic as the average age of people grows higher. The paper proposes a service-oriented healthcare architecture called SOHA, which provides services of data collection, event detection, and so on. SOHA does not only ease the development of healthcare applications, but also can be used to set up experimental environments for researches of activity recognition and other applications. In this paper, a care-giving application is also implemented to ensure the realistic and functionalities of SOHA.
