Abstract :
In this paper, an effective knowledge reduction algorithm based on positive region is proposed, where positive region is obtained by combining some simple matrix operations, the monotonicity of positive region and the strategy of separate-and-conquer. This knowledge reduction algorithm is particularly suitable for the case of decision table with few objects and many attributes.
