Abstract
The Numerical Electromagnetic Code (NEC) is a computer code used for analysing the electromagnetic response of an arbitrary structure consisting of wires and surfaces in free space. The analysis is accomplished by the numerical solution of integral equations for induced currents. The authors give a brief description of the structure of the NEC, describe the previous computing configuration used and the objectives in implementing the parallel version of NEC on the parallel computing system which is described
