            Abstract : 
Open ring resonators are applied to a wide-band BPF. Their coupling is made quite strong by aligning them diagonally and also into broad-side coupled configuration. External Q is conveniently controlled by changing the tap position to the resonator from the external circuit, adjusting the circuit matching. The conventional insertion loss method still works for a BPF with several ten percent of specific bandwidth.
