Abstract
A novel 1/f noise mixer is proposed based on CMOS technology, using body effect to increase effective LO power. Compared to previously reported mixers, the proposed topology has advantages in LO power saving, power dissipation and simplicity. The simulated down-mixer shows 16.92 dB power conversion gain and -6.14 dBm IIP3, while dissipating a total of 0.5 mW from a 1.8V supply.
