Abstract :
A dynamic forecasting model is proposed in this paper for the unit production capacity prediction in production planning and scheduling systems of process industry. An application of this model is demonstrated in the planning and scheduling systems of a cold rolling steel sheet plant. It is shown that the model can forecasts the unit production capacity and makes the order to deliver by due date exactly
