Abstract :
E-polarized wave scattering by a two-dimensional unclosed cylindrical screen is considered. There has been considerable interest in utilizing such structures as reflectors of various geometries in modern communication and deep-space satellites and ground antenna systems. The authors develop a simple effective method for solution to this problem and for calculation of various properties of such structures in the resonant frequency range
