Abstract
Discontinuous mode control scheme for active power filtering converter is already in widespread use in the area of single phase input power supplies because this control scheme has large practical advantages, that is to say, it is very simple and cost-effective. But it has not been adopted practically for three phase input power supplies because the characteristics of this control scheme have some disadvantages for three phase mains. We proposed a new circuit configuration with discontinuous mode control scheme which is suitable for three phase mains. This paper presents operation modes of the proposed topology and describes simulation results
