Abstract :
Information technology is rapidly developing, such as smart phones and PDA devices have been popularized. On the other hand, for the operating systems of the Apple´s IOS and Android are installed on these mobile devices that enables user to receives diverse digital contents and applications. Particular, some real-time information can assist user to synchronize with the database via wireless network communications and then improve decision-making process and quality... In this research, to improve the hospital´s service, we proposed an intelligent nursing information system on the mobile device. The proposed system named Intelligence Nursing Information System (INIS) adopted the Android OS as a platform and integrated with RFID device as the data collection reader. The integration of the mobile devices with RFID reader can provide nurses with the real-time nursing-care and drug delivery information. Because of the paper work of traditional working process can be reduced, therefore the proposed INIS solved the nursing-care problem about the asynchronous information and the delayed data in nurse workstation. Also, the RFID tag of INIS can reduce the input-output mistakes of human and improve the inconsistent data situation. Additionally, using RFID devices to identified for patient and then connected with database by wireless, so that to provide nursing with immediate, accurate and fast information about the patient.
