A new medical training platform based on PBL method

The advantages provide by advanced information technology opens a lot of opportunities for the modern society. Many countries imported information technology to develop a new medical training platform in order to elevate the importance on how to develop and maintain the quality of education of doctors. Instead of the traditional way of education, this study proposes a new medical training platform which combined with the clinical cases of Gastroenterology that integrates the structured text to present the result of doctor´s diagnosis, the digital images, and the concept of Problem-Based Learning teaching method, and uses intelligent lecture assistance mechanism in clinical teaching. It is hoped that core competencies of medical profession can be cultivated and to foster excellent medical personnel.
