Abstract :
This paper discusses the performance of adaptive equalization using lp, 1<p⩽2, back propagation algorithm. The results indicate that as p decreases, the convergence time tends to reduce roughly linearly. Considerable improvement in the rate of convergence and bit error rate performance for 1<p<2 over p=2, has been shown to be feasible
