Research on Manufacturing Product Quotation System Based-on Mass Customization

Today, manufacturing enterprises have realized the importance of customers and they should satisfy customers as possible as they can. Meanwhile, they need ensure to obtain a favorable economic benefit. What customers are more concerned about are design scheme of products, price, due date, and so on. These are just the central contents of quotation of manufacturing products. Therefore, a good quotation is crucial for enterprises to both attract customers and obtain a good economic benefit. Aimed at it, this paper presents the concept of MPQS based on mass customization. Next, the framework of MPQS is designed and the information model of MPQS is described by using UML. Afterwards, it illuminates the working principle of every functional module in details. Then the basic implementation based on Java platform is explained.
