Abstract :
Connecting control system components through multi-user networks offers high design flexibility and low implementation cost. However, limited-capacity communication channel may deteriorate the performance of the closed-loop system. This paper addresses the effect of the network resource restrictions on the closed-loop system performance and presents a novel method to reduce the network traffic and to alleviate the performance bottleneck
