Abstract
A fourth order cascaded ΔΣ-coder is presented, which consists of two modified second order converters (Biquads) rather than a combination of conventional ones. The Biquad structure contains zeros in the transfer function of the noise shaping filter, thereby either improving resolution or allowing a decreased oversampling ratio, without increasing power consumption
