Abstract :
We have developed a mass storage system using multilayered waveguide holographic storage. The system consists of a stack of single-mode slab waveguides. A hologram from which a bit image can be regenerated is written in each waveguide. The waveguides can be made using thin films, so we can use stamping technology to reduce the cost through mass production
