Abstract :
We describe the performance of unsensitized Ho:YAG lasers pumped by CW and pulse-pumped Tm:YLF lasers. The Tm:YLF lasers are diode-pumped. Thulium CW output power levels exceeding 40 W with M2 ~1.35 have been achieved at 1.9 μm. CW pumped repetitively Q-switched Ho:YAG 2 μm laser emission operating at room temperature has demonstrated 20 W at 10-20kHz with M2~1.45
