Abstract :
8- and 12-channel transmitter and receiver modules, operating at 1.25 Gb/s/ch have been in production since 1998, the prototyping phase of 2.5 Gb/s/ch is in its final stages and multi-channel operation at 3.2 Gb/s/ch has been demonstrated. A 4-channel transceiver module operating at 2.5 Gb/s/ch has been developed recently. The optical interface is either single-mode or multi-mode, depending on the customer application
