  • Abstract
    We have presented a novel optical fiber connecting tool and demonstrated low optical coupling loss and evaluated back return loss from connected interface. The optical coupling loss of 0.5 dB and back return loss of -25 dB are realized. We confirm that this connecting tool can reduce optical fiber installation cost and time and be conventionally used for testing and experiments of optical fibers
