Abstract :
Different reconstruction techniques for acoustic tomography with refraction were implemented and compared using simulated data, with stability and precision criteria. One of these algorithms, involving curved-ray reconstruction, exhibits a better behavior for refracting media and it provides a good improvement over the classical straight-ray images for objects of simple geometry even when the refractive index variation reaches 8-10%
