Abstract :
The paper introduced the application of Hyperspectral Remote Sensing (HRS) technology, using EO-1 Hyperion Hyperspectral Remote Sensing image data of ZhongYang Mountains in the East Kunlun of Qinghai-Tibet plateau altered mineral mapping areas, described the basic flow of the Hyperion hyperspectral data pre-processing. And finally basic on the typical altered minerals with diagnostic spectral features of minerals identification method, applied Spectral Angle Match (SAM) classification method to automatically match the identification and information retrieval, broadly defined mineralization points, the distribution range of mineralization clues. It also has practical value for the complex geological prospecting in the region of ZhongYang Mountains.
