Abstract :
Per-element RF data acquired from an adult pig using a 48 element phased array were analysed for different forms of waveform aberrations. Amplitude and arrival time perturbations, wave shape distortions (low correlations), and multi-pathing were all observed. Image quality progressively improved, and waveform aberrations decreased, during dissection of the abdominal wall
