Abstract :
Investigation and study of the gain pattern for cylindrical ring DR shape show that excitation of higher order modes of DRA realized multi pattern diversity. This allows the use of a single antenna instead of having to use multiple antennas. The measured results for return loss are in good agreement with our FEM-based simulation results.
