Abstract :
A multi-size morphological decomposition algorithm is presented. It is generalized by ranked-order filters for better adaptation to noisy textures. The generalized decomposition is evaluated by its ability to segment a textured image corrupted by additive Gaussian noise with various signal to noise ratios
